I was a big fan of SoM, enjoying the presentation, fluid controls, and (especially) the novel Nemesis system, which added a fresh new layer of depth and meaning to the simple staple of killing enemies in a videogame. Shadow of War (SoW) is the much-anticipated sequel to Monolith’s acclaimed LOTR spin-off action game Shadow of Mordor (SoM), promising a continuation of the main games story, a much bigger world to explore, and an evolution of everything that made the first game great whilst adding in a plethora of fresh features and mechanics.
